Our employees carry out a rigorous quality control following a HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) program from the moment the raw material is received from the field, the stabilization for equalizing moisture and temperature, the processing line until it is bagged. While processing, they take control samples every 30' to confirm that the merchandise is within the established standard.
All movements and processes of the Raw Material are clearly documented to have the traceability of the product from the entrance to the plant from the field to the bagged exit under a batch number. The cleaning process includes high-tech equipments to ensure the elimination of all defective merchandise, delivering a product with less than 1.5% of total defects. The process includes, calibrators that separate by size, Gravity Tables primary and secondary that separate by specific weight, stone detractors that remove stones with similar size and weight than the corn and a Color Sorter with an infrared eye that removes grains outside the color range of corn. It also has electro magnets in placed before bagging and a metal detector for ferrous and non-ferrous metals settled before loading the bag into the container.
